This year, many of us have spent time exploring leadership in transition: stepping into new roles, navigating moments of uncertainty, recalibrating direction, and ensuring leaders hear the truth when it matters most. These inflection points are rarely comfortable—but they are where real growth happens. My hope is that some of these insights stayed with you, long after reading.
The end of the year marks a transition of a different kind. One of the few moments when leaders are invited—not to rush into strategy or execution—but to pause and reflect. To assess what truly worked, what no longer serves you, and where your energy is best invested and nourished next.
For some, this season aligns with holidays or long-standing traditions. For others, it is simply a natural moment to pause and reflect. Either way, it can act as a reminder that every transition carries possibility. The future is not yet fulfilled—and leadership is the conscious decision to move toward it with clear intention.
As you prepare for the transition into 2026, I invite you to reflect on the following:
What are you ready to let go of?
What deserves renewed focus?
And what kind of leader do you want to become in this next chapter?
